{book tweet} John Adams

10.15.2010

JohnAdamsA brilliant historic biography by David McCullough. One of the most substantive novels I have read in the last decade. John Adams’ vision, character and personal integrity are inspiring – read it for yourself!

{book tweet} Castle

6.23.2009

CastleI admit I picked up Castle written by J. Robert Lennon because of the effectively curious cover design. The Stephen-King-sounding novel was the victim of its own inventive powers, choked by the uneven branches of its forest (burial) plot. Lesson: Only Stephen King can do Stephen King.

{book tweet} Old City Hall

6.23.2009

OldCityHallI just finished a very enjoyable read, Robert Rotenberg’s Old City Hall. It exceeded all my qualifications: well-written with a confident, concise style; rich, intriguing story and unique, diverse characters. Read it!

Happy Birthday Turbo!

6.09.2009

20yearsealToday I’ve officially been in business for myself for twenty years. I’m most grateful for all my clients, friends and family without whose support I would not have been able to enjoy my independent lifestyle which truly makes me happy. A big high-five to my online office buddies who are always ready with a clever joke, a supportive comment or some wise words. Cheers!

read ~ live

6.03.2009

readThis past Sunday we went for a 60-mile bike ride, down Scenic 30A and out to Panama City Beach. On the way back we stopped at Fonville Press for iced caffeine to help fuel our trip home. Any place that promotes literature, “Read ~ Live”, has my vote.

Look for my upcoming “Book Tweets”, short and sweet book reviews.
